Every single NEMO product is backed by our Adventure Forever Guarantee™ in the EU and UK.

This product guarantee applies to all products manufactured by NEMO Equipment, Inc. (“NEMO”). Please note that NEMO’s product guarantee differs from country to country, depending on local consumer protection laws and customs. This document sets out the guarantee available to NEMO’s customers in the European Union and United Kingdom. This Guarantee does not affect any other statutory rights you may have as a consumer depending on your country of residency.

Guarantee Overview

We strive to design and build the best outdoor equipment on the planet. We obsess over every design decision and each material we choose, and we work tirelessly to ensure the highest level of workmanship. We believe that our products should provide you with the greatest comfort and protection from the elements, and we proudly stand behind this promise. All NEMO products purchased in the EU and UK are covered by a free commercial guarantee of durability of five (5) years from the date of purchase, against defects in workmanship and materials, covering the entire product, granted to the original purchaser with proof of purchase from an authorized NEMO dealer (“Guarantee”).

This Guarantee is offered at no additional cost to the consumer and is separate from, and does not replace, limit, or affect, the statutory legal guarantee of conformity available to you as a consumer, including your right to free remedies from the seller (such as repair or replacement) in the event of a conformity defect. The legal guarantee of conformity has a minimum duration of two years from delivery and may be longer under the national law of your country of residence.

Guarantee Details

NEMO offers this Guarantee on all NEMO products, for five years from the date of purchase. Claims are considered for defects in product manufacturing and material defects. The Guarantee is granted to the original purchaser with proof of purchase from a NEMO authorized dealer. Products purchased second-hand (for example, at a garage sale or from a private resale) are not eligible, as they are not an original purchase. Products found eligible under this Guarantee will be repaired or replaced at NEMO’s discretion.

Guarantee Exclusions

NEMO does not guarantee products against: (i) normal wear and tear, (ii) modifications or alterations not undertaken by NEMO, (iii) improper use, (iv) maintenance that is not in accordance with our product care guidelines (https://www.nemoequipment.com/pages/care-repair), (v) misuse or neglect, or (vi) use of the product for a purpose for which it is not intended.

Examples of normal wear and tear include (but are not limited to): UV damage, faded colors, abrasions, scuffs or scratches, punctures, pole breakage, damage due to excessive winds/weather, and improper re-packing.

Damage due to normal wear and tear, improper use, accidents, or that is otherwise excluded from the Guarantee can usually be repaired for a fee. Details of the process for repairs outside of the Guarantee are set forth below.

Except as expressly set forth in these terms and conditions, NEMO is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of or resulting from the use of a NEMO product. The guarantees set forth in these terms and conditions exclude all other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent it is permissible to exclude such warranties in the applicable jurisdiction of the consumer.
